個人簡歷
1985年畢業于四川大學,獲得理學學士學位;
1991年畢業于中國科學院大學,獲得理學碩士學位;
1995年畢業于德國柏林自由大學,獲得理學博士學位;
1999-2000年作為洪堡學者在德國從事博士后研究;分別于2001年和2003年在新西蘭奧塔哥大學和瑞士巴塞爾大學做高級訪問學者;
1998-2023,曾任中國科學院成都生物研究所生態研究中心主任、院重點實驗室主任、常務副所長、所長;
2011-2018年任國際山地綜合發展中心(ICIMOD)生態系統服務領域主任、首席科學家。
研究方向
生物多樣性保護、生態系統服務、高山生態學、草地與濕地生態學、恢復生態學、鄉村景觀與可持續發展.
社會任職
現任聯合國生物多樣性與生態系統服務政府間組織(IPBES)多學科專家委員會(MEP)委員,國際山地綜合發展中心(尼泊爾)獨立理事,中華人民共和國瀕危物種科學委員會委員,四川省委省政府決策咨詢委員會委員,《應用與環境生物學報》主編等職。
