于1993年7月到中國科學院成都生物研究所開始從事兩棲爬行動物學研究，主持和完成國家重點研發計劃重點專項、中國科學院戰略性先導科技專項、國家自然科學基金等30余項國家、省部級及院地基礎研究和科研攻關項目。近期承擔和完成的主要科研項目：
